Job summary

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home in Southport is seeking a Care Assistant to help residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to support dignity and independence.

You will join a supportive team in a warm environment; the role is open to those with or without prior care experience, with full training provided, and the successful candidate will work alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Experience in care is beneficial but not essential
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support
• Assist with mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing
• Follow care plans and report changes in residents' condition
• Work as part of a supportive team in a warm, positive environment
• Be available to work alternate weekends
