Job summary

Hazelwell Care Home in Wirral offers a stunning all-inclusive 55-bed facility delivering Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care. The Care Assistant role supports daily living, follows care plans, and provides compassionate, person-centred care to residents.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. The successful candidate will work alternate weekends with day and night bank shifts available.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care as part of a supportive team.
• Create a warm, positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.
