Job summary

Hazelwell Care Home in Wirral is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to help deliver high-quality, person-centred care for our residents. You will assist with daily living, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to maintain dignity and independence.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, offering full training and ongoing development. The role requires working alternate weekends with day and night bank shifts available, and includes DBS pension and uniform

Qualifications

• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care including personal care and mobility.
• Support residents with nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition.
• Contribute to a safe, warm environment with a supportive team.
• Participate in training and ongoing development.
• Alternate weekends work; day and Night Bank shifts.
