Job summary

Hutton Park Care Home in Largs is seeking a Care Assistant for full-time night shifts (8pm–8am) at £13.60 per hour. The role supports up to 37 residents in a luxurious, person-centred environment with exceptional ratings.

5.6 weeks annual leave applies to a full-time contract, with full training and ongoing development provided. This is a care assistant position open to those with or without prior experience; SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to full time hours per week - 8pm - 8am
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
