Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants in the United Kingdom. This role offers a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week with shifts across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate weekends, supporting clients in their own homes.

You will help clients with morning routines, meals, medication, and personal care, ensuring they remain as independent as possible.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over; UK-based role, driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients get up and ready for the day, including breakfast and medication support.
• Assist with personal care needs and daily living tasks.
• Provide home help tasks and meal preparation.
• Support with end-of-day teatime and bedtime routines.
• Visit clients with time to build lasting relationships and avoid rushing.

*Guaranteed hours contract of 30 hours per week*
Working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate weekends. 8am - 1pm & 5pm - 9:45pm.
We are looking for new Care Assistant's to join our team and support our ever-growing client base with their day-to-day lives and to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.
As a Care Assistant with us, we do things differently and believe in lasting relationships. You will support the same clients regularly and with visits a minimum of 1 hour, you have plenty of time and no need to rush!
Covering our core times, you will support with getting our clients up and ready for their day, breakfast & medication, personal care needs, home help tasks, meal preparation and the end of day teatime and bedtime routines.

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.
We also require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).
