Job summary

Home Instead Oxford is seeking Care Assistants to support older adults in Witney and surrounding areas. The role offers a guaranteed 30 hours per week with shifts 8:00–13:00 and 15:45–21:45, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate weekends. Training provided through our Care Skills Academy with full Care Certificate support.

Paid at £13.70 per hour with double pay on bank holidays. No experience required; you will build lasting relationships with clients in their own homes while

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
• Alternate weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients get up and ready for the day and assist with breakfast, medication and personal care.
• Provide home help tasks, meal preparation and support with daily routines.
• Deliver visits of at least 1 hour to each client and build lasting relationships.

*Guaranteed hours contract of 30 hours per week* Working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate weekends. 8am - 1pm & 3:45pm - 9:45pm. We are looking for new Care Assistant's to join our team and support our ever-growing client base with their day-to-day lives and to remain as independent as possible within their own homes. As a Care Assistant with us, we do things differently and believe in lasting relationships. You will support the same clients regularly and with visits a minimum of 1 hour, you have plenty of time and no need to rush! Covering our core times, you will support with getting our clients up and ready for their day, breakfast & medication, personal care needs, home help tasks, meal preparation and the end of day teatime and bedtime routines. Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired. We also require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).
