Job summary

Home Instead Swindon & Vale of White Horse is seeking Care Assistants to support clients at home across Swindon, Highworth and surrounding areas. You will help with daily tasks, personal care, meals and mobility, with visits of at least one hour.

We offer a guaranteed 20 hours per week, £13.30 per hour with double pay on bank holidays, plus training through our Care Skills Academy, Care Certificate support, pension, holiday pay and clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided to succeed.
• Aged 18 or over with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
• Alternate weekend work is required (Sat & Sun).
• UK right to work required; no sponsorship or switches.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with day-to-day living and encourage independence at home.
• Support with getting clients up, breakfast and medication, personal care and meal prep.
• Record visits of at least 1 hour and build lasting client relationships.

*Guaranteed hours contract of 20 hours per week*
Working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and alternate weekends. 8am - 1pm & 3:45pm - 9:45pm.

We are looking for new Care Assistant's to join our team and support our ever-growing client base with their day-to-day lives and to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

As a Care Assistant with us, we do things differently and believe in lasting relationships. You will support the same clients regularly and with visits a minimum of 1 hour, you have plenty of time and no need to rush!

Covering our core times, you will support with getting our clients up and ready for their day, breakfast & medication, personal care needs, home help tasks, meal preparation and the end of day teatime and bedtime routines.

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.
