Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Caring Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Swindon and surrounding areas. You will help with daily routines, personal care, meals and medications, ensuring clients remain as independent as possible with regular, uncrowded visits of at least one hour.

We offer training via our Brand New Care Skills Academy, help with Care Certificates, clear career paths and bonuses for referrals.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old or over
• Right to work in the UK
• Full driving licence and vehicle preferred
• Alternate weekend work (Sat & Sun)
• No prior care experience required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with morning routines, breakfast and medications.
• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with home tasks and meal preparation.
• Conduct visits of at least 1 hour to each client.
• Accurately record care activities and stay with clients throughout visits.

We are looking for new Care Assistant's to join our team and support our ever-growing client base with their day-to-day lives and to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

As a Care Assistant with us, we do things differently and believe in lasting relationships. You will support the same clients regularly and with visits a minimum of 1 hour, you have plenty of time and no need to rush!

Covering our core times, you will support with getting our clients up and ready for their day, breakfast & medication, personal care needs, home help tasks, meal preparation and the end of day teatime and bedtime routines.

*Guaranteed hours contract of 20 hours per week* Working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and alternate weekends. 8am - 1pm & 3:45pm - 9:45pm.

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired. We also require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).
