Job summary

Bluebird Care Inverclyde and Renfrewshire and Glasgow South is seeking a Care Assistant with driving to work across Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and Glasgow South areas. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes and support with daily living activities.

No previous care experience is required as full induction and expert training are provided. The role offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

What You'll Do

As a Care Assistant, you'll help people continue living life on their own terms, in the comfort of their own homes.

• Build meaningful relationships with the people you support
• Help customers maintain their independence, confidence and routines
• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Support with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration
• Assist with medication and promote wellbeing
• Help with light household tasks to create a safe and comfortable environment
• Offer companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Travel between customers' homes to provide reliable, consistent care
• Be a trusted and familiar presence that customers and families can rely on
