Bluebird Care Cardiff and the Vale is seeking a caring Care Assistant with a driving role to join our team in Cardiff. You will provide personal care, companionship and support to clients in their own homes, often working independently or with colleagues.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. We offer expert training, flexible shifts, paid e-learning, and opportunities for progression within a supportive, community-focused employer.

Competitive Pay

• £13.45 per hour
• £16.00 Per Hour Bank Holidays
• £20.00 per hour Christmas day, Boxing Day and New years day
• 35p mileage allowance

Requirements

• A Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• To be living in the local area
• The ability to work alternate weekends
• To commit to working a minimum of one evening shift per week
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• ABI experience is also desirable, but not essential.
