Job summary

Bluebird Care Vale of Glamorgan is seeking a Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes with daily living activities. You’ll provide personal care and companionship while working either independently or as part of a supportive team.

The role offers evening shifts on Thursdays–Sundays and flexible patterns to fit demand.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Living in the local area.
• Ability to work alternate weekends.
• Commit to a minimum of one evening shift per week.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Follow care plans.
• Care experience is beneficial but not required as training provided.
• ABI experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

£13.45 per hour | Expert training | Flexible shift patterns

Due to growing demand, we are seeking carers who can provide evening availability on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, open to other availability.

Competitive Pay:

• £13.45 per hour
• £20.00 per hour Christmas day, Boxing Day and New years day

Requirements

• A Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• To be living in the local area
• The ability to work alternate weekends
• To commit to working a minimum of one evening shift per week
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• ABI experience is also desirable, but not essential.
