Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes in Seaford is seeking Care Assistants to join our dementia-friendly Abundant Grace home. We offer full-time and part-time daytime shifts, with a 36-hour weekly schedule for full-time staff and support for the care team.

You will provide high quality personal care, promote independence, serve meals and document resident interactions. Training is provided, and we value a caring, energetic team player dedicated to excellent resident experience.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you'll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.

We are looking for two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford.

Hours: Full-time position of 36hrs per week

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
