Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes in Seaford is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team on days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious dementia nursing home. This maternity cover is for 9 months from mid September 2026, 36 hours per week with alternate weekends.

You will provide high quality personal care, promote independence, assist with meals, input residents' interactions, and support relatives. The role offers induction, training and access to benefits, with competitive hourly rates and staff welfare

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary.
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences.
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford. This is Maternity Cover for 9 months, from mid September 2026.

Hours: Full-time position of 36hrs per week, this w

ill include every other weekend.

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
