Essex Cares in Billericay is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for the reablement service. You will support clients to regain daily living skills at home, including personal care, mobility and meal preparation, with travel between clients across Billericay and surrounding areas.

Shifts run from 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm, with alternate weekends. A full driving licence and access to your own car are required, as is a DBS check and the right to work in the UK.

This Care Assistant post sits in the reablement service of Essex Cares, based in Billericay and covering the surrounding area. The work centres on helping clients regain skills for independent living at home, such as personal care, mobility and preparing meals. Being community-based, it involves travelling between clients and offers early and late shifts, with every contract including alternate weekends. Full driving licence and own vehicle are required, and direct applications from candidates needing visa sponsorship cannot be considered.
