Greensleeves Care in England delivers 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care for older people across 26 care homes. As a Care Assistant you will support residents while upholding their rights to independence, privacy and dignity, and assist in daily living activities.

You will help with dressing, washing, mobility, personal hygiene and use of aids, while promoting Greensleeves Care values of respect, openness and responsibility. A commitment to confidentiality is essential.

Qualificações

• Understanding of the needs of residents.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable).
• Experience of providing care (Desirable).
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and care to residents while promoting independence, privacy and dignity.

As a Care Assistant, you will:

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

To apply, you will need:

• An understanding of the needs of residents
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable)
