Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide compassionate support to residents across our care homes. You will help with daily living activities, maintaining residents’ independence, privacy and dignity while upholding our values of respect and responsibility.

Role involves assisting with dressing, bathing, mobility and personal care, and supporting residents with dignity in all aspects of daily routines.

Qualifications

• An understanding of the needs of residents.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• QCF diploma in care Level 2 or equivalent (Desirable).
• Experience of providing care (Desirable).
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsabilités

• Assist residents who need help dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and toilet use.
• Assist with mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Support residents with personal hygiene, including incontinence.

As a Care Assistant, you will:

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
