Job summary

Maplebrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home in Wolverhampton, providing high quality residential and specialist care for up to 81 residents. We are part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist complex care division of Care Concern Group, a family owned provider with a strong presence across the United Kingdom.

We are seeking a Care Assistant to support individuals with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in care or mental health beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a complex care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care and activities per individual care plans.
• Support routines to create a calm, stable and supportive environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and respond to changes in wellbeing.
• Deliver safe, person-centred care in line with policies and procedures.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Full Time
• Dayshift, 7am to 7pm
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long term health challenges. Your role is to provide safe, consistent and person centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans and support structured routines, helping to create a calm, stable and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents, understanding their needs and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.

This is a hands on role that requires patience, resilience and a calm approach, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of residents while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently at all times.
