Maplebrook Care Home in Wolverhampton is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for a contract role. The position covers cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, plus laundry duties, in a specialist care setting.
The role supports a high standard of hygiene and presentation and collaborates with the wider team. This entry-level role welcomes applicants with a positive attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Maplebrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built home in Wolverhampton, providing high quality residential and specialist care for up to 81 residents within a supportive and welcoming environment.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised, hygienic and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
