Job summary

Maples Care Home in Bexleyheath is seeking a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will help residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to ensure dignity and comfort.

The role welcomes experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided. DBS paid and a uniform are supplied, along with generous leave and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous care experience beneficial but not essential.

Job description

Maples Care Home is a purpose-built nursing home in Bexleyheath, set over three floors and designed to combine modern facilities with a warm, homely atmosphere. The home offers 75 spacious ensuite bedrooms where residents are encouraged to personalise their space, creating a comfortable and supportive environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.03 per hour
• Contracted to 34.5 hours per week - Days & Nights availible
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
