Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is looking for compassionate carers to support a young person with Cerebral Palsy in Leigh. You will assist with personal care, mobility, and accompany them to college and social activities. Driving the client to college and activities is essential.

Full nurse-led training is provided; prior care experience is welcome but not required. DBS check is paid for, and there are opportunities for career progression within the Complex Care team.

Qualifications

• Care experience is desirable but not essential; Nurse-led training will be provided.
• Experience working with a young person would be beneficial.
• Must have full driving license to transport client to college and activities.

Responsibilities

• Support client with personal care, bowel management, and mobility.
• Assist client to attend college and accompany to social activities.
• Help client live independently as much as possible.

Pay Rate: £13 per hour

Shifts Available: Days (07:00 - 20:00) and Wake Nights (19:30 - 08:00)

Driver required due to attending college and social activities with the client.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

Previous care experience is desirable for this role, but not essential as full Nurse-led training will be provided to you. Experience working with a young person would be beneficial for this role.

The only essential requirement for this role, would be a full driving license. This is due to you being required to transport the client to college and to social activities in which they like to attend.
