Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is seeking a compassionate care assistant to work in a client’s home in Hessay, near York. You will support with 24-hour care needs, medication administration, meals, and personal care, helping the client live independently.

Full training and DBS are provided; a driver is required due to location; sponsorship is not offered. This role offers career development within our people-first care group.

Responsibilities

• Care for the client in their own home in Hessay near York, supporting with daily living.
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring of clinical needs.
• Prepare meals and assist with all personal care requirements.
• Support the client to live as independently as possible.

Location:Hessay, York

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Shifts:09.15-13.45 and 18.30-20.30. This is a split shift, and you would be required to work both of these times daily.

Driver is required for this role due to location but if local then this may not be required

Job Description

This role is caring for our client in their own home based in Hessay near York. They have a spinal injury and need support to live independently. He currently receives 24-hour care, supporting with and monitoring all clinical care requirements, supporting with medication administration, meal preparation and support with all person care needs. He also enjoys gaming in his spare time also.

Qualifications

Care experience is not essential for this position, but would be beneficial. However we are more looking for a compassionate, caring and confident individual. Clear communication, the ability to build strong, effective relationships and working well in the existing team are the main things we are looking for.
