Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen in Walsall is seeking a dedicated carer to support an active client with spinal muscular atrophy. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, and help manage daily activities in the client’s home, including driving her adapted vehicle when required.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and the ability to drive on motorways. Training is provided, with DBS checks funded by the employer, and opportunities for progression within CCH.

About the Role

You will support an active 38‑year‑old female client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives independently in her own home and leads a busy, social lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting all aspects of personal care
• Moving and handling
• Medication administration
• Helping with household tasks
• Driving the client’s adapted manual vehicle
• Supporting her to access work, social activities, Powerchair Football, holidays, and community events

Because her lifestyle is varied and active, flexibility with working hours is essential.

Qualifications
