City and County Healthcare Group Ltd in Leigh, Greater Manchester, is hiring care staff to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy, including personal care and college transport. The role involves driving to college and social activities and helping the client live as independently as possible.

We offer nurse-led training, full DBS paid by us, flexible shifts (Days and Wake Nights), and clear career progression within CCH. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential for transporting client to college and social activities.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential; nurse-led training will be provided.
• Experience with a young person would be beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, bowel management, and mobilisations for the client.
• Support the client to attend college and accompany them to social activities.
• Help the client live as independently as possible with family on site.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

Previous care experience is desirable for this role, but not essential as full Nurse-led training will be provided to you. Experience working with a young person would be beneficial for this role.

The only essential requirement for this role, would be a full driving license. This is due to you being required to transport the client to college and to social activities in which they like to attend.
