Job summary

CCH Group is seeking compassionate in-home care professionals to support a client with a spinal injury in Hessay, York. You will assist with daily living tasks, medication, meal prep, and monitoring of clinical care requirements in the client’s own home.

Shifts are split (09:15-13:45 and 18:30-20:30), and a driver may be required due to location. DBS checks are fully covered; comprehensive training and career growth opportunities are provided within CCH.

Qualifications

• Care experience is not essential, but compassionate and confident individuals are valued.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in the existing team and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for the client in Hessay, near York.
• Assist with medication administration, meal preparation and personal care needs.
• Monitor and support all clinical care requirements and daily living activities.

Location: Hessay, York

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Shifts: 09.15-13.45 and 18.30-20.30. This is a split shift, and you would be required to work both of these times daily.

Driver is required for this role due to location but if local then this may not be required

Job Description

This role is caring for our client in their own home based in Hessay near York. They have a spinal injury and need support to live independently. He currently receives 24-hour care, supporting with and monitoring all clinical care requirements, supporting with medication administration, meal preparation and support with all person care needs. He also enjoys gaming in his spare time also.

Qualifications

Care experience is not essential for this position, but would be beneficial. However we are more looking for a compassionate, caring and confident individual. Clear communication, the ability to build strong, effective relationships and working well in the existing team are the main things we are looking for.
