Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking a Care Assistant for Netley Court, a purpose-built 65-bed home in Netley Abbey. The role is full-time with day shifts and alternate weekend working to support residents with dementia and general care needs.

Applicants with NVQ level 2 or equivalent are preferred, and a passion for care in a close-knit team is essential. We offer induction, mentorship, training, and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent; willingness to attend training.
• Physically able to carry out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Care for dementia and residential residents in Netley Court.
• Work as part of a close-knit team and support colleagues.
• Promote choice, individuality and independence for residents.
• Organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure.

Netley Court is a purpose-built 65 bedded residential care home set in the heart of the village of Netley Abbey caring for dementia and residential residents.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable carers to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents. Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

We are looking to recruit experienced carers, ideally with an NVQ qualification and with the desire to further their career within our home. We offer a comprehensive induction, mentorship, support and training and encourage career development.

Person Specification

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids
