Job summary

Bluebird Care Lincoln and South Lincolnshire is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes, providing personal care, meals, medication support and light housekeeping. You will work independently or as part of a supportive team, with comprehensive induction and expert training.

Flexible shift patterns and a friendly, inclusive team await, with DBS checks and references undertaken in line with government guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
