Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire East in Crewe is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our expert team. You will support customers in their own homes with daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity.

The role involves personal care, meal preparation, medication support, light housework and building trusting relationships. Full training is provided, with flexible shifts and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.
• Full training provided.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
