Job summary

Connected Health is looking for a Care Assistant in Crossmaglen. No prior care experience is required as accredited training and ongoing development are provided.

You will support clients in their own homes, delivering compassionate care while building a meaningful career. We offer mileage at 20p per mile, flexible full-time or part-time shifts, a £200 sign-on bonus after 3 months, and a wellbeing package with training, discounts and rewards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential.
• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car.
• Must be available to work alternative weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.
