Connected Health Group Limited is seeking a Care Assistant in Newry to support clients in their homes. The role offers accredited training and ongoing development, with no prior experience required.

Mileage is paid at 20p per mile, and a £200 sign-on bonus is available after 3 months of service. Competitive pay is up to £14.10 per hour with flexible shifts, plus benefits such as free Access NI, a uniform, and various wellbeing and discount perks.

Formación

• Experience in homecare is helpful but not essential.
• Good standard of English, written and spoken.
• Driver licence and own car access required.
• Available to work alternate weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and daily living support per service user care plans.
• Respect dignity, independence and choices of service users.
• Maintain professional relationships with users, families and staff.
• Report changes in a service user's condition to supervisor.
• Complete documentation including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings.
• Develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training.
• Undertake additional duties as required by the Service Manager.

Who We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential
• Communication Skills: Good standard of English, both written and spoken
• Driver Requirement: Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car
• Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
