Job summary

Lime Trees Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant in Shrewsbury to deliver person-centred care and support residents with daily living while maintaining dignity and independence.

You will follow care plans, support mobility and nutrition, and contribute to a calm, respectful atmosphere. Training and development are provided for all levels of experience.

About Lime Trees Care Home

Lime Trees Care Home is a 66 bed care home located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Providing residential and dementia care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where a dedicated team supports Residents to live well and maintain their independence. With a focus on person centred care and meaningful experiences, Lime Trees is a rewarding place to work for those passionate about making a positive difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Working a 3x on & 3x off rota over a seven day week

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
