Job summary

Daisy Nook House in Ashton-under-Lyne, part of Care Concern Group, seeks a caring Care Assistant to help residents with daily living and wellbeing. This role emphasises dignity, respect and person-centred care delivered by a supportive team.

The position is part-time (22 hours per week) with DBS paid, uniform provided and generous annual leave. Training and development are offered to support career progression within a caring environment.

Job description

Our 40 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care. Located in a peaceful part of Ashton under Lyne, Daisy Nook House offers a warm, welcoming environment with comfortable bedrooms, homely communal spaces and landscaped gardens. With a strong focus on person centred care and meaningful activities, colleagues can make a real difference while building positive relationships with residents.

Care Assistant Contract
  • Contracted to 22 hours per week
  • Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
