Job summary

Belong is recruiting a Care Assistant for Belong Birkdale. You will work with a team to provide personal and practical care, supporting residents in a village-style home with around a dozen residents per household.

The role focuses on compassionate, person-centred care, meeting individual needs, and maintaining dignity. Training, DBS process, and progression opportunities are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.

Pay: £13.45 p/h

Shifts: 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 10pm a combination of the two.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Birkdale

About the Role:

As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
