Job summary

Belong is recruiting a Care Assistant in Wigan to work with a dedicated team delivering person-centred care in a village-style home. You will support residents with personal care and daily activities, while maintaining dignity and privacy and building strong relationships with families.

The role requires empathy, reliability and flexibility across morning and evening shifts. A comprehensive induction, ongoing training, DBS checks, and a pension are provided alongside other staff benefits.

• Excellent communication and written skills.

• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative.

Pay: £13.45 p/h

Shifts: 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 10pm a combination of the two.

About the Role:

As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.
