Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young gentleman with cerebral palsy in Ashington, near Pulborough. You'll receive full training and clinical support, with responsibilities including personal care and PEG‑based medication administration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is advantageous.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (free carried by employer).
• Full training and induction provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to a young adult with cerebral palsy.
• Administer medication via PEG under supervision.
• Assist with seizures management and daily living activities.
• Foster meaningful social interaction and support independence.

Job Description

What you'll do

Join our team as a Complex Care Assistant and take the opportunity to enhance your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, PEG feeding, and more. You'll be supporting a young gentleman in his early twenties with cerebral palsy, working alongside a caring team to provide personal care, medication via PEG, seizure support, and meaningful social interaction. Every day brings something new, and you'll be making a real difference in someone’s life while growing your own knowledge and experience in complex care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially involving the following clinical tasks:

• PEG feeding.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
