Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is seeking compassionate support staff in Newcastle upon Tyne to assist older residents with daily tasks and wellbeing. You will help with light cleaning, shopping and appointments, while encouraging independence and social engagement within the development.

Experience in UK health and social care is preferred; Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a bonus. We offer comprehensive training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Personality: Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.

• £13.26 - £14.56 per hour (depending on shifts)
