Job summary

McCarthy & Stone's Balshaw Court development in Leyland is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily tasks and wellbeing, ensuring dignity and independence. This part-time role (25 hours per week) pays £13.26 per hour with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends.

We offer funded training, 28 days holiday pro-rata, a pension and life insurance, and 24/7 wellbeing support. Experience of 1+ year in UK health and social care is preferred; Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults)

Qualifications

• 1+ year UK health and social care experience preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health & Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Support social activities and wellbeing routines.
