Job summary

Agincare Group in Minehead is seeking a Home Carer to support clients at home with daily routines and personal care. You’ll provide companionship, assist with meals, shopping, and light housework, and help with medications where needed.

We value a caring, patient approach and offer funded training, flexible contracts, and on‑demand pay. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK for at least 12 months are required.

• Must have a kind, compassionate nature and be able to build relationships with clients.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Availability for sleeping nights shifts (10pm-7am)
• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate , and genuinely passionate about helping others . You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm , caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive , professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
