Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Minehead to provide compassionate home care, helping clients live independently with dignity. You will support and mentor teammates, perform spot checks, and build strong relationships with clients' families.

A driving licence and flexible availability are essential, with up to 40 hours per week and shifts from early morning to late evening. We offer funded professional training up to QCF level 5, mileage paid, and a pension.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Mentor and support new members of the care team.
• 40 hours per week with shifts 7am–10pm and alternating weekends.
• Full UK driving licence required to travel between visits.

About The Role

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.

What You Will Bring

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work – we currently cannot offer sponsorship
