Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to provide compassionate support in New Milton, helping clients with daily routines, personal care and companionship. You will contribute to high-quality, person-centered care in clients' homes and build meaningful relationships with those you support.

The role offers flexible contracts, paid mileage, and opportunities for training and qualification up to QCF level 5.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• No previous care experience required; training will be provided for the right attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months and a full UK driving licence with access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, household tasks and personal care.
• Assist with shopping, meals and making tea.
• Provide companionship and a friendly, listening presence.
• Support with medication when needed.

The Role of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea.
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation.
• Helping with medication.

About you

• You dont need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.
• Youll bring: A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship).
• A full UK driving licence required with access to your own car.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
