Job summary

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking caring and reliable Care Assistants on a Bank contract. You will provide person-centred care, support daily living, and work across day and night shifts, with full training and ongoing development offered.

We welcome applicants with or without prior experience; NVQ Level 2 is desirable. DBS funded, pension and uniform provided, with generous holiday accrual for full-time equivalent.

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a bright, modern home in a residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, offering person-centred nursing, dementia and palliative care for up to 70 residents. The home features spacious ensuite rooms, wheelchair-accessible facilities, welcoming communal areas, a dedicated hair salon and large landscaped gardens, all supported by a compassionate team committed to kindness, dignity and comfort.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.32 per hour
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
