Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd. is seeking a Care Assistant for Roslyn Court in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends, and is based at one location with no travel required.

You’ll support residents with daily tasks, assist with social activities, promote independence and dignity, and help deliver person-centred care in a friendly on-site team environment. Training is provided and pension benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of UK health and social care experience preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

Roslyn Court is located in the historic Cambridgeshire city of Ely. The complex includes one and two bedroom properties, which are spacious, stylish, and offer the benefits of Retirement Living PLUS. You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred,
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.

• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.
