Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Care Assistant at Lysander House in Ickenham, Uxbridge to support residents with daily tasks and wellbeing.

This part-time role offers an hourly rate between £14.12 and £15.42, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends, a fully paid training program, and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

£14.12 - £15.42 per hour (enhanced pay for evenings & weekends)

Lysander House is an age exclusive retirement development set in Ickenham for over 70's. There are landscaped communal gardens with planting, shrubs, central feature and seating. It has a lovely communal lounge and onsite restaurant.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.

• Supporting residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping
• Assisting with social activities and wellbeing routines

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred,
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Personality: Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults
• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.
