Job summary

Maidstone Complex SCP, part of CCH, in Charing, is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman with special care needs. You will deliver compassionate personal care, manage medications, and assist with mobility using appropriate equipment.

The role requires a full UK driving licence; previous care sector experience is preferred and full training is provided. Shifts are days and nights with 12-hour blocks, offering a rewarding environment and career growth within the group.

Pay:£14 per hour - Weekday Days

£15 per hour - Nights & Weekends

Shifts:Days & Nights Available - 12 Hour Shifts - 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing skills by joining us as a Complex Care Assistant, supporting a gentleman with a spinal cord injury. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate carer who is a confident communicator, proactive, and a strong team player.

The role involves providing personal care, administering medication, performing bowel care via manual evacuation, and using the appropriate moving and handling equipment.

Qualifications

A candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying:

• A full UK driving licence.
• A previous background in the care sector.
• Experience of administering medication and manual evacuation would be extremely advantageous.
