Advantage Healthcare in Birmingham, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to join our growing team. You will provide 1-1 care for a lady with a spinal cord injury, including meals, personal care, catheter care, and medication administration, with full training and clinical support.

Qualifications

• Experience in bowel management and medication administration is advantageous.
• Full valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 care for a lady with a spinal cord injury, including meals, personal care and daily exercises.
• Support with bowel management, catheter care and medication administration.
• Assist with accessing the community and daily activities using home equipment.

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more!

This rewarding, person-centred role involves providing 1-1 care for a lady who has a spinal cord injury. Your tasks will include preparing meals, personal care, bowel management and catheter care, medication administration and assisting with accessing the community. She also requires support with her daily excersises, which she has her equipment in her home.

• Bowel Management
• Medication Administration

The only requirement would be that you will need a full valid UK licence.
