Job summary

SCP Recruitment Limited is seeking compassionate care professionals to join our Complex Care team in Lyminge.

The role involves supporting a young adult with a spinal injury, providing catheter care, bowel management and moving & handling, and assisting registered nurses during shifts with tasks such as tracheostomy care and ventilation.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential, including catheter care, bowel management and moving & handling.
• Willingness to work shifts and support on-site nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist a young adult with spinal injury, meeting complex care needs on shift.
• Support nurses with tasks such as tracheostomy care and ventilation when required.

Location: Lyminge, near Folkestone

Pay Rate: £14 per hour - Weekdays

£15 per hour - Weeknights & Weekends

Shifts Available:8 am - 8 pm Days | 8 pm - 8 am Nights (Sleeper Shifts)

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young adult who has sustained a spinal injury, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Moving &Handling

You will also be required to assist our registered general nurses on shift in the following, where needed:

• TracheostomyCare
• Invasive Ventilation
• Deep Suctioning
• Cough Assist

Qualifications

What you'll need

Experience in complex care is essential, especially in the following:

• Catheter care
• Bowel Management
• Moving & Handling Equipment
