Job summary

McCarthy Stone's Foxhall Court estate in Banbury is seeking a Part-time Care Assistant to support residents in a single, on-site location. You’ll work a mix of early and late shifts, including alternate weekends, with no travel between calls and a focus on compassionate, person-centred care.

Join a dedicated on-site team at a Retirement Living Plus development, where you can help residents stay independent, engage in activities, and benefit from funded training, pension and wellbeing support,

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assisting with social activities and well-being routines.
• Promoting independence, dignity, and community engagement.
• Supporting with individual care packages.

Foxhall Court is a Retirement Living PLUS development comprises of a mix one and two bedroom retirement apartments. Exclusive to the over 70s, it has some outstanding communal facilities, communal lounge and on-site restaurant.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred,
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Personality: Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults
• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.
