Job summary

Bluebird Care Sussex Weald is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team in Sussex Weald. You will support customers with daily living needs, either independently or within a supportive team, helping to maintain comfort and dignity in their own homes.

We provide expert training, flexible shift patterns, mileage reimbursement, and paid travel time, with opportunities for ongoing career development in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is beneficial but training is provided.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain patient dignity.
• Excellent communication and compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements

• *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
