Job summary

Bluebird Care Rushcliffe & Melton is looking for a caring Care Assistant to join our team, delivering high-quality in-home care to our customers. You will work with a supportive team and gain full training while making a real difference in people’s daily lives.

The role offers part-time hours with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for development within a recognised home care provider.

Qualifications

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to follow care plans.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
  • An excellent rate of £15.00 - £15.50ph increasing to £30.00 - £31.00ph on bank holidays.
  • Part-time hours 16-30 per week
