Job summary

Bluebird Care Worthing is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our home care team. You will support clients in their own homes, helping with daily living activities while maintaining independence and dignity. Training is provided, and you will work within a friendly, supportive team in the Worthing area.

We offer flexible shifts, travel time reimbursement and ongoing career development to ensure you deliver high-quality care to every client.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements

• *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
