Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant in Ashington, near Pulborough, to support a young man with cerebral palsy. Full training and clinical support provided as you deliver personal care, PEG-based medication administration, seizure support and engaging social interaction.

You'll join a caring team, grow your knowledge in complex care, and benefit from DBS check, paid induction and clear progression into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is advantageous.
• Full training and paid induction provided.
• National opportunities to relocate within CCH.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to a young man with cerebral palsy.
• Administer medication via PEG.
• Support seizures.
• Engage in social activities with client.

Job Description

What you'll do

Join our team as a Complex Care Assistant and take the opportunity to enhance your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, PEG feeding, and more. You'll be supporting a young gentleman in his early twenties with cerebral palsy, working alongside a caring team to provide personal care, medication via PEG, seizure support, and meaningful social interaction. Every day brings something new, and you'll be making a real difference in someone’s life while growing your own knowledge and experience in complex care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially involving the following clinical tasks:

• PEG feeding.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
